Holly is trained and proficient in using Parenting by Connection strategies and uses this approach when working with parents to help them understand their child’s emotional landscape to rebuild or strengthen the parent-child bond. Hand in Hand parenting recognizes that all children have an innate desire to love and be loved. Holly will help you understand emotional expression as important signposts to a child’s interior world. Parents and caregivers will receive help in listening to tears and tantrums without becoming reactive or trying to “fix” them. Navigating these strong emotions with warmth results in the deepest connection possible. Holly will show parents how to balance authoritative limits with free-flowing play and one-on-one time.
